Advanced wound care part I is designed to allow new staff the ability to provide accurate wound assessment and proper determination of wound staging for pressure ulcers. Wound care part II is designed to allow the new staff member to determine the best wound care agents and dressings to allow for optimal wound healing.

Although an initial reaction to the end of the relationship between the number of therapy visits and home health reimbursement may be one of panic, there are very positive aspects of moving to this model. This session will focus on how PDGM can and WILL impact therapy utilization and empower attendees with tools to ensure the quality and define the value of the therapy team.
